The Emory at Nashville Yards
The photo session
The Emory runs 35 stories and 420 feet at 930 Commerce Street, which makes it the tenth-tallest building in Nashville. Solomon Cordwell Buenz of Chicago — a firm drawing skylines since 1931 — designed it. StreetLights Creative Studio was architect of record and did the interiors. Southwest Value Partners developed it with StreetLights Residential; Clark built it. Inside are 312 condominiums with ten-foot ceilings and eight-foot doors. Construction finished in late 2024, sales opened that October 31, and the first residents arrived in early 2025.

Not Twins
People call The Emory and The Everett twin towers. Close, but no. The Everett is 34 stories and 409 feet, and it leases; The Emory is a story taller, eleven feet higher, and it sells. What they genuinely share is the third-floor amenity deck — plus a rooftop terrace with a dog park on it.
The Yards Around It
Nashville Yards is 19 acres and filling fast: the Grand Hyatt in 2020, Amazon’s two towers in 2020 and 2023, The Pinnacle — the music venue — in early 2025, Pinnacle Tower — the 504-foot office building; no relation, don’t ask me — later that year, and Hooky in April 2026. My photographs here are the architecture, the interiors, and the residences. The Emory is finished. The neighborhood around it isn’t close.
