When Chapman Sisson Architects approached me to photograph their newly completed Elkmont Elementary School, I knew this project would showcase everything I love about architectural photography in Alabama. Located in rural Limestone County, this $13.2 million educational facility represents thoughtful design that serves both practical needs and community pride.

Photographing educational architecture requires a different approach than commercial or residential projects.
